Announcing the 23rd Annual Poetry Contest

Grab your pens and get ready to have some fun!

Write about:
“A Day in the Life of a Cow.”

Think of all the fun, crazy, imaginative things a cow could do in 24 hours.

Email your poem to: CustomerService@LongmontDairy.com before midnight, March 12, 2017.

Contest Rules:
Grade divisions are: K-2nd Grade, 3-5th Grade, 6-8th Grade, and 9th-12th Grade.

Include your name, grade, school, home address and phone number. Enter as many times as you wish.

Winners will see their poems published in the May Mooo News with their name, school and grade. Poems published on our website will include only the poet’s first name, school and grade. Poems that do not win a prize may be posted on our website at our discretion. Poetry submissions become the property of Longmont Dairy Farm, Inc. Your entry of a poem gives your consent to these contest rules.

  • Write or type your poem on a sheet of plain, white paper, or in an email.
  • Include your name, grade, school, home address, and phone number on the back of the page.
  • Use one sheet of paper or one email per poem.
  • Email your poem to customerservice@Longmontdairy.com before midnight, March 12, 2017.
  • Prizes will be given for each division.
  • Contest winners will have their poems published in the May, 2017 issue of the Mooo News, with their name, school, and grade.
  • Poems published on our website will include only the author’s first name, school and grade.
